EOA developed separate OVTA protocols for assessing trash levels under various conditions. There are three types of protocols: (A) walking, (B) driving, and (C) area-based. EOA has also developed a Stormwater Trash Load Reduction Calculator spreadsheet for estimating trash load reductions. More information is here.
Stormwater Trash Reduction Assessment Portal (STRAP)
EOA has developed the Stormwater Trash Reduction Assessment Portal (STRAP), an online tool that compiles and summarizes OVTA data for our individual client municipalities, showing overall trash management and load reduction progress metrics in user-friendly graphic formats.
